Integrated creative agency HZDG has appointed Gillian Goodman as associate creative director. Goodman will be based out of the firm’s headquarters in the DC metro area.
“We have experienced phenomenal growth at HZDG and are excited to bring aboard someone with Gillian’s background in creative at the highest level,” said HZDG President and Chief Creative Director Karen Zuckerman. “We look forward to weaving her expertise in design throughout all of our integrated, creative projects.”
In her new role, Goodman will be responsible for producing and overseeing creative functions across a variety of accounts, including King Arthur Flour’s and several accounts in the agency’s real estate category.
Beginning her career as a designer at GQ, Gillian went on to become the art director for Oprah’s O, Town & Country Weddings, Town & Country Travel, and Men’s Journal, working in the art departments of Gourmet and Travel + Leisure magazines along the way. The recipient of numerous industry awards including Folio’s “Magazine of the Year” in 2014 and “Featured Designer of the Year” in 2013, she has also worked on projects for clients such as Walmart, Dean and Deluca, Conde Nast, and the French Culinary Institute.
