Hi, fellow creatives! Sharing is caring, so I’ve put together a few of my favorite sites and design resources. Go ahead and take a look: Hopefully you’ll find some inspiration along the way!
Translated literally from the German as “friends of friends,” this is a great site for when you want to get your creeper on and see how other creatives work/live. You can browse the interviews by location, or take a look at various workplaces. They even have a section for music, which is great for when you’re looking for some new jamz.
I can’t decide whether I like this site more simply because it’s a great resource or because of its functionality. It serves up a completely customizable color palette each time you hit the spacebar (which is entertaining all on its own—I could click for days!) and it gives you the option to lock in a color you like while regenerating the others until you’ve created the perfect palette.
Wordmark is a super helpful resource that displays all the fonts installed on your computer simultaneously. It’s a great time saver, and makes it much easier to narrow down your final font choices.
This site features an interesting mix of art, architecture, and interior design. I find myself on here when I need a fresh wave of inspiration that isn’t the regular mix of packaging, logos, and brochures. They even have a sister site for design conscious dog owners. I mean, they have a section titled “Dining” that features modern dog bowls made of marble. Marble. Those are some lucky pups.
