Curley’s Q BBQ Truck Serves Up A Tasty New Brand Identity by HZDG

It started as a big yellow truck. It became an even better big yellow truck.

Breaking into the fast-pace food truck industry, Curley’s Q BBQ approached HZDG to brand their new restaurant on wheels which serves 100 percent hardwood smoked, farm-fresh meats on hearth-baked rolls with vinegar-based slaw and ever-changing daily sides.

HZDG worked to emphasize the high quality and witty personality of the brand, including incorporating the tagline, “Voted #1 BBQ by my ex-wife,” which is prominently displayed across the front of the truck. The new 360-degree design drives media synergy by utilizing Q’s QR Code and Twitter feed.

The Curley’s Q logotype has customized typography that plays off of the word “curley” while the “Q” acts as a brand symbol. “Made-from-scratch” menus, T-shirts and take-away items all “kick it up a notch,” Q-style.

So, when you’re craving some de-lish BBQ in the DC area, stop by Curley’s Q BBQ truck-you can’t and don’t want to miss it!
